This fuel pump removal tool is a stand alone tool that does not require an additional puller. For use on 1/3/5 Series and X1/X3 with N47 2.0D chain driven engines.
When you use the tool do not remove the bolt fixing the sprocket to the pump, screw this tool into the centre of the sprocket FIRST then remove the centre bolt the captive washer on the bolt is bigger than the tool and it is this action that forces the sprocket from the taper of the pump.
Equivilent to OEM Ref 11 8 740.
Suitable for use on 1 Series E81 | 82 | 87 | 88, 3 Series E90 | 91 | 92 | 93 & 5 Series E60 | 61 | X3 E83 X1.
